- SOMELIER RECOMMEND KAGOR KOBLEVO
This Sunday, Christians are preparing to celebrate the bright spring holiday - Easter. According to tradition, an integral attribute of the festive Easter table, in addition to paskas and dishes of Ukrainian cuisine, is Cahors.
Cahors wine belongs to the group of dessert special wines.
Creating a cahors wine is a special process - before vinification, the crushed grapes insist for about a day at a temperature of 60-70 ° C. Because of this, the wine appears velvety, thick and very rich taste. Also characteristic feature of this Cahors is its rich dark ruby color. And it completely coincides with the preferences of Ukrainians. According to the research of the analytical agency RTRI, KOBLEVO is the most popular one - every fourth Ukrainian chooses it.
It is worth paying attention to the label: the correct name of the wine, namely “dessert special wine”. This should be considered before giving preference to a particular manufacturer. Kagor KOBLEVO is recommended by professional Ukrainian sommeliers.
Traditionally every year the Sommelier Association of Ukraine conducts tasting of domestic Cahors. Blindly appreciate the popular positions that are sold in Ukraine specifically for the holiday.
“The richest taste and aroma of the Cahors Ukrainian KOBLEVO,” said the head of the association Ivan Bachurin. “This is a classic Cahors wine with intense ruby color, complex aroma of dried fruit, and prunes. It has a rich velvety taste and perfectly complements the Easter table. ”
